Distances: 100yards to 185yard approach shots

Round: 18 Hole Practice

Notes: Played a couple of extra balls on missed approach shots, but didn't distinguish which approach shots were second shots or what specific clubs were played.

Up and Down almost half of the shots that were missed. Wedge game has shown results and improvements.

My overall dispersion was level with distance of the center of the green or within a 20 yard margin of the flag on 50% of the approach shots taken. The major miss short also included 39% of all approach shots taken.

Key Takeaways:

  • Incorporate strike into practice sessions. Poor strike results in missed distances.
    (5 Strokes Lost)
  • Continue to monitor left miss. 40+ yards left of target.
    (3 Strokes Lost)
  • Continue working on wedge distance 30-60yards
    (6 Strokes Saved)
